Each year since 1988, Ashforth Pacific has commissioned an artist to celebrate the city of Portland. The artwork must depict both the east and west sides of the city and show the Willamette River itself.
 
The original works hang in Ashforth Pacific’s offices in Portland’s Lloyd district. The firm sends a poster of the art to partners and clients each year.
